In the 2001/2002 timeframe, some red-colored sodas (such as Mountain Dew Code Red) began to appear on the market.
Later on, other strangely-colored sodas began to appear in the market, such as Pepsi Blue, Fanta Berry, and dnL. They all flopped.
I would like to see all of your opinions whether there is still a market for these colored sodas. Some of the red sodas still live today, but some other colors have died. What makes red a more attractive color for a beverage?
Blue?
Green?
Pink?
Yellow (not green-yellow like Mountain Dew)?
Black?
White (not clear)?
Aqua?
Cyan?
Magenta?
