I just went by my local store in Dexter, MI and they had the new Mountain Dew Pitch Black II w/ a sour bite in 2 liters!! I still have not tried it yet, as I want to try it cold. Has anyone else seen this where they live?

haven't seen it or heard about it coming out yet - i heard end of august so its probably making it way out in the next week???

how does it taste?

I just went to a 7-11 in Frederick, MD, and they had it in 20oz and fridge. Produced in Baltimore MD.

I bought a 20oz. It's a lot better than the first incarnation -- the sour afterbite really gives it a nice finish.

I'm stocking up on this stuff this time. The first time it came out I loved it, but I just plain forgot to stock up on it. I've missed it for almost a year now....

i still have some of pitch black 1 ; so if i dont like this stuff ill pull out some cans/20oz of that and sip it this halloween time..

i bet ill like this new one equally though

Pitch Black II is better than 1
for once the sequel doesnt suck!

My 2 boxes of PB1 doubt they can be surpassed in greatness.

I just tried it tonight. Its alot better than the original (I still have two cases left from last year). It tastes like the Darth Dew from 7-11. The sour aftertaste is really well done.

Sounds like Pitch Black 2 is a big improvment over the the original. I remember trying it when the original first came out. It was okay, but I wouldn't drink it again.
