CCBCC started producing yet another size bottle this week. 13.2 oz bottles for c-stores. 5 flavors so far:Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite , Pepper and Sundrop.
Has anyone seen this size before?

I can't wait to run out and get the new 2.72782957 liter bottle of Coke!

What is the point for such intermediate sizes? The might as well just start at 1, 1.1, 1.2 oz. and go to like 30.98. There, we will have like 1 billion bottles of soda to choose from, each varying but an entire .1 oz!!

    My rant is complete.

Interesting size definitely. I'll look for them Wednesday when I enter Consolidated territory. I figure Pibb and Mello Yello fill these bottles like the area I'm going to Wednesday, considering Dr Pepper rights belong to American Bottling, and Sun Drop I don't think is even made there, but American may have rolled it out recently like they did to the north in PA.

Coke Pepsi and Dr Pepper plus the related brands can be found in the 10oz twist top bottles in most stores in the Carolinas. I wonder if the 13.2 bottles may be a replacement?

why would coke want this size? 13.2 oucnes?

unless they made people drink a 1/2 liter or 20oz and then took whatever they had left after x amount of time and subtracted it. it's approximately 390.5 milliliters if you use the 355ml/12oz ratio.

my guess is that this size bottle was chosen for a certain overall dimension rather than for an exact ounce tally. Probably a tradeoff between serving size and the number of bottles they can stuff in a cooler. Or number of shelves in a cooler. That just a guess though. Maybe someone HAS determined that 13.2 ounces is the exact amount the average convenience store shopper wants --- right.

Cokes 13.2oz bottles, 16oz cans and I think 8oz cans all seem to have started from Charlotte Coke.(CCC? CCB? I know its not CCE)
