I heard a news report on the radio today that said that a "nationally recognized soft drink company" was planning to build a "major packaging facility" in North Carolina. There are two NC locations being considered, and one of them is in the city of Mebane.

I would guess that the company in question would be either Coke or Pepsi. CS beverages are bottled in Charlotte and at several smaller bottling companies in NC.

Has anyone else heard anything about this proposed new packaging plant?

Oh PLEASE let it be Coke,let it be in Mebane, and let them distribute Barq's! I need a closer place than Danville to get it!
