i was at the supermarket today, and couldn't find what i was looking for (diet cherry coke or fanta zero), so i browsed the pepsi section and... i noticed that they didn't have any 1.5 liter bottles.

i was interested in trying the Jazz flavors, but they just had 2 liters (which seems big to a single guy in NYC with limited frig space). i didn't see any 12 packs of it either.

so i just bought more coke zero.

the happy ending... i did find some 1.5 liters of fanta zero at another store.

Pepsi does have 1.5 liter bottles.

Everyone's seen the Lipton 1.5 liters by now...

I remember articles talking about PepsiAmericas selling 1.5 liters in 2004, not sure if they still have them around or not.

Diet Cherry Coke 1.5 liters will probably be going away, if they haven't already. The talk is that it's going to be a can-only brand. But I am sure you'll see Cherry Coke Zero 1.5s.

The Lipton 1.5 ltrs are pretty much collecting dust by my parts. Speaking for myself, I'm 100% brain washed with the 2ltrs. IMO....I do not think the average Chicago consumer would be willing to pay a two litter price for a 1.5 litter bottle. (The Lipton 1.5 ltrs are priced 20 to 30 cents more than the shelf price for 2 ltrs. Even the sale price for 1.5 ltrs are higher than the sale price for the 2 ltrs.)

Here in Aguascalientes we have Pepsi and all its core brands (Mirinda, Kas, 7up and Manzanita Sol) in 1.5 liter bottles, except Pepsi Light...

BTW, Pepsi just released here a new plastic 8 oz. bottle, is a very tiny bottle...

IMO Coke's mistake here was the release of a 1.25 liter bottle of Coke here months ago, specially when there's 1.5 liter bottles and 2 liter bottles available...

BTW, I haven't seen a 1.25 liter Coke bottle recently...

The limpton tea in the 1.5 liter was asked to be put in a package like that by lipton themselves so pepsi had to do it.

Why are the liptons in 1.5 liter bottles anyway, instead of 2 liters?
