    Hey folks,

I have just recently come across a fantastic softdrink...Cheerwine. The stuff is simply awesome.

    But how is it pronounced?

    Like "Cheer-Wine"?

    Or like Cheerwinny?

    Thanks!

    Mike

Cheerwine is exclusively available in North Carolina, and sometimes in South Carolina. Its pronounced Cheer-Wine, as in a Happy alcoholic beverage.

    Caleb,

What do you mean by "exclusively" available in NC?

I buy it here in Kentucky at our local Krogers.

Cheerwine is now available in all or parts of 17 states, mostly in the southeast. It used to be pretty much limited to Western NC. My wife, who grew up mid-state had never seen or heard of it until she went to college at Appalachian State in the early 1980's.
With thousands of sodas available for the choosing, why drink just one or two?

Yeah it is all over the place where I live here in KY. I hadn't ever heard of it till a couple years ago. It is pretty good stuff, but not something I would drink very often.
