Well darn, $1.39 20 oz bottles have curbed my consumption considerably.
I got back from a gas station where they just raised coke 20 oz to $1.59!
I don't like this at all.

Interestingly, there was a 2/$2 promotion going on for Pepsi products at this same store.

That's unreal. I can get 500 ml bottles of Coke, Squirt etc. at the local mercado latino for $1.49 and I thought that was a premium price.
With thousands of sodas available for the choosing, why drink just one or two?

While that is the case with Coke, I have seen 7-up products that are 99c at gas stations around town here. And that doesn't seem to be the sales price.
Why get Sprite Zero at 1.30, when Diet 7-Up is at 99c?

It's like that in my area, sadly.Originally posted by Blue Efficacy:

I frequently consume 7up products, as those are easy enough to find at a reasonable price. And also, the sodas are just plain better! Except the cola and lemon lime, but I am not a huge drinker anyway.Originally posted by jmyjunk:

And I actually found a gas station on my way to work that has bottles of sun drop, first i've seen in my metro area.
Coke is not going to win my business with 1.59 20 oz.

Woodman's (mega grocery store located in Kenosha,Wi) has had 6pks of 16.9oz 7up,DP,A&W Rootbeer,Welsch Grape and Sunkist Orange on sale for 5 for $10. They had the "new" diet 7up as well in the 16.9oz 6pks. This sale has been on for at least the past 3 months.
Today I picked up 5 six packs of DP. YUM
It was produced on 1/13/07. Nice and fresh. LOL
The prices of Coke and Pepsi Fridge packs were either 4 for $12 or $6.50 a cube.

I love how they have Mello Yello, Fanta, and Barq's for 89 cents for a 20 oz. If prices of other 20's keep going up, I'm just gonna keep drinkin mello yello. I love that stuff.
