Has anyone every seen or drank these before?? They may be old but they are new to me. I was at a Flying J gas station here in Iowa and was wanting to try something different. I was pleasantly surprised with the Strawberry Banana flavor that I had. If you've ever had an Orange Julius of the same flavor that is what I would compare it to.

I have not seen these. IMO...There is nothing like an Orange Julius. YUM!!!!! IMO these smoothie drinks are merely thickened sugar and juice mixture. A true smoothie has fresh fruit, crushed (blended ice) and other things like yogurt ect.

Bottled smoothies IMO are just a gimmick to sell to the quasi health conscious crowd.

Yes they do have real fruit in them. I was surprised to find they did. I agree a real smoothie has crushed ice and what not but I was just basing it on the flavor and would compare it to an Orange Julius.

Well the fact remains you can't sell a RTD beverage with crushed ice in a C-store cooler, so this is the closest you get.
