i haven't seen any in my area since summer... and, the new "diet coke plus" uses similar packaging (i.e. blue "wave"). which leads me to believe that diet coke with splenda is on its way out.

has anyone heard any official word? and does anyone know anyone who actually drinks it?

12 pack brand in most areas, though I have seen 2 liters here and there - locally from Philadelphia Coke.

I don't think it's going anywhere just yet. It does have a core group of drinkers - people who want a diet Coke but can't have aspartame or who don't like the taste of an aspartame-sweetened soda. But not enough people buying it in 20oz or 2L in the areas I work in (12 packs have a longer shelf life).

We just dropped the 12 packs in Maryland, don't know if that is a nationwide decision or not.

I see 12 packs in Wegmans all the time, not sure on 2 liters. I'm always suprised when I see it, I forget Coke has this product. I'll keep watch to see if they disappear.

it tasted too lemony or something to me. i think they would've been better served with an aspartame/ace-k version of diet coke... like they use for coke zero.

It actually sold pretty well, much better than Diet Coke Plus.

ok. i didn't know that. is diet coke plus still around?

We are still having it in 12pks here in the Wisconsin market. It seems to sell pretty good in our territory out of Dubuque, Iowa. Diet Coke Plus it the one that does not sell too well for us.

No. I was in Wegmans Sunday. Diet Coke with Splenda and Diet Coke Plus have room in the set for 4 12 packs each. When I looked Sunday there was one Splenda and 2 Plus. Assuming the Coke rep filled Friday or Saturday then some did sell.
I was in a Price Chopper supermarket in Owego, NY today. The Coke set was filled. No facings for Splenda but plenty of Plus 12 packs.

A trip through three supermarkets in Rochester, NY turned up no Diet Coke with Splenda.
