What's the story behind Pepsi tropical fruit? anyone know?

I believe you are thinking of Pepsi Summer Mix, which is Pepsi with Tropical Flavors.

I found this stuff at 7-11 the other day. Is it just me or have all of Pepsi's flavor extensions tasted the same lately? This tastes an awful lot like Strawberries & Creme Jazz to me, as did Caramel Creme Jazz. They all have a very sweet taste that sorta has a "sting" to it, for lack of better words.

We had Tropical Pepsi here in the UK back in the early 90's here is a picture of the can, it was only available in 250ml cans for a couple of months. At the same time they also released Strawberry Pepsi here as well.
