I'm on my annual road trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin. I stopped at Stone Cellar Brewpub for lunch yesterday. I was finally able to pick up some of their root beer (last year they were out). I also found out that Stevens Point Brewery is now making Orange Creme soda (once again sweetened with honey). I'll have a taste report and pics once I get home and unpack.
When I was leaving Twig's in Shawano, WI, I noticed an old truck parked half a block down in front of the warehouse. It was an old Sun-Drop delivery truck from Celo Bottling (Sauk City, WI).

It says you're on your annual trip to MN, if that means you haven't been here yet, I'd suggest stopping in Minneapolis and checking out the selection of soda I have. Roughly 270 flavors to choose from, all in glass bottles.

Thanks Josh. I'll keep that in mind for next year. I just got back yesterday. I had one of my trailer tires blow out doing 70 on I-290 around Chicago. Well, that rim is shot!

I tried the Orange Cream from Point Brewery and the Root Beer from Stone Cellar Brewpub (Appleton, WI).
Orange Cream - real good flavor. Just like how a cream soda should be- sweet, but not overly sweet. Probably the best Orange Cream that I have had.
Root Beer - lighter tasting than most root beers (bottle even says, "...lighter than the rest, but still the best.") but still pretty good. Not at the top of my list, but still good enough to get more of next time . It's also made with sugar.
