Safeway used to have a Red Licorice in their private label soda lineup.

CVS/pharmacy also picked up on the Jones Halloween flavors this year, they have the 4 different flavors that come in the small cans as 4 packs.
I tried candy corn and it was sickeningly sweet, I'll give the other 3 to trick or treaters this year.

I bought a 4 can pack, because it has. inverted caine sugar
The Lemon Drop Dead lemon is amazing!!! It quite tangy, and very tasty. Of course, I can only a drink a few sips at a time, but none the less, I love such lemon drinks.

I know it's the day after Halloween, but wanted to share some of my more "artsy" photographs of the Jones Halloween collection (by "artsy" I mean, "shot a photo of the beverage in the grass next to a tree"). Every now and then it's nice to see something other than low quality cell phone shots!
Here were the cans...

Just me???.....Jones existing flavors don't
flip my top. LOLDon't worry, be happy. Meher Baba

Dont worry Zabe, jones pure cane cola will be coming to a town near you fairly soon. Probably within next few months. It is fantastic. A beverage addict like you will enjoy, i promise!

The bottles this past season weren't too bad, as far as the customer-submitted photos. The labeling stayed with the orange/black look of 2006, with the only notably change being the branding change from "Jones Soda Co." to "Jones Pure Cane Soda". Also something to note... the phrase "Soda" is no longer listed on the flavor line. Whereas in 2006, a flavor was listed as Monster Mojito Soda, in 2007 it was just Monster Mojito.
Anyway, some of the artwork found on the bottles I picked up this year...

I'm sorry, but if you're a "beverage addict" more than likely Jones would be the last flavor you would find "fantastic." Jones markets well as the pictures are sent in by customers and they interact well with their customers.
As far as tastes goes however, you can name any one of their "regular flavors" they offer and i can give you 3 brands that taste ten times better.
Case in point, I tried Jones pure cane root beer a few months ago, I had to dump it down the drain as it wasn't very fantastic. If you want great root beer, try Goose Island, Henry Weinhard's or you can't go wrong with good old A&W, especially with cane sugar.
I think it's great a company can be an underdog such as Jones and still compete with the likes of Pepsi and Coke. By compete I mean take any of the lions share, as far as hurting Pepsi or COke, that's not going to happen.
Maybe it's just die hard fans who refuse to try other beverages to compare. I get the same from people who love Faygo, be it they're obsessed with the Insane Clown Possey and drink what they promote, or they're originally from Detroit, either way, Faygo is another brand that could really work on some flavor.
Three drain worthy root beers: Jones, Faygo and Natural Brew.
