In the past few weeks i have come across some old canadian 1.5 liter glass dating back to early 90's outside of p.e.i. is there places in canada that still make this glass size on the regular?

I think the bottling of those was over at least 5 years ago.

On my last visit to PEI this spring, there were no 1.5 L bottles...largest you can get there now is 750 mL. By the way, the can ban on PEI will be lifted effective Jan 1, 2008. Cans and NR bottles will have a 10c deposit, 5c of which will be returned to the customer when the container is returned. However, there is a requirement that the soft drink companies make half of their products available in refillables. How this will play out will be interesting to see, though I am sure both Coke and Pepsi will try to weasel out of the refillable requirement.
