Default Sierra Mist Mojito Splash/Sierra Mist Free Mojito Splash

Hey everyone,

I discovered this on the Wikipedia page for Sierra Mist:

"Currently, Pepsi is taste testing a new flavor, Sierra Mist Mojito Splash and Sierra Mist Free Mojito Splash with a limited number of pre-selected taste testers for a possible roll-out in early 2008."

Anyone have any additional information?

Sounds good if it's true. Of course, the only results I found on Google were the Wiki article and this thread.

I second that, but in this case it was presented to us in the last marketing meeting as a new item of '08, so it does have some merit. However things can always change.

Mojito is mint right? So this'd be kinda along the lines of Sprite Ice?

Mint, yes.... and a stronger emphasis on lime.

Mojitos are made from muddled mint and lime with simple syrup, rum, and soda water. They are refreshing and delicious, but I don't think they would translate well into Sierra Mist.

Jones Soda brought back its Monster Mojito flavor for Halloween. It debuted in 2006, so one wonders if it saw some success in the marketplace. It didn't taste too bad and can see it being adapted into the Sierra Mist base.
