Hola. im over at Dewmocracy, and you probably remember me from with my site Freewebs.com - Free website, free hosting, free webpage, online photo album, free blog, more! to get more flavors of MT. Dew out and keep them.

We have gotten to the point where the top 3 ideas have been chosen, and we are currently making the logo, label, and tag line for them with our 3 teams. After we do that, tehy will be put for a national vote, where the winner will FOR SURE be the next Dew out in stores.

Option 1 (my team and what im fighting for)-
Name: Revolution
Color: Slate Blue
Flavor: Fruit Fusion with Wild berry+Ginseng

Name: Voltage
Color: Lavendar (looks plain purple anyways)
Flavor: Raspberry Citrus Blend+Ginseng

Option 3(My second choice)-
Name-Supernova
Color: Violet (sorta pale)
Flavor: Strawberry Melon Lime+Ginseng

Yea they all have ginseng but i guess thats no big deal. Now that i realy look at the option, i think id rather have supernova over revolution, i jsut REALLY liked the idea of a blue dew. Supernova has perfect flavors: Streawberry melon lime. hhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm, i dont know......

So one of these will be on the shelves sometime in 2008, whats your pick?

Just regular green Mountain Dew for me. None of the additional foofy foofy flavors are needed.

Hasn't Mountain Dew and MDX earned it's name as "extreme" for BMX biking, X games and such.

It's like taking a Harley Biker and putting him in a tutu.

IMO.. leave the "with ginseng" out of the title. Seems no point to advertise the ingredient with the least presence. With that mind set you might try, Mountain Dew Blue, with carbonated water.

I'll be more impressed when I see. "Now with cane sugar" (in glass bottle no less)

How about some Licorice, Natural, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Power Energy, Ultra-Supreme-Overchared, Nitrous-Charged, utimate, incredible, super, poly-unsaturated, super-fast-acting, incredible, absolute power $hit-kicking Moutain-Dew!

.... and that's a big "for-sure, good buddy!"

supernova has my vote; i love melon and lime and the name kicks the most ass

well the three are still in development by us for another couple weeks, and then the national vote after that, so none of them will be made except the winner.

I would like to add my two cents.
I would dig MD Strawberry straight up.
Just a nice Strawberry Crush flavor high lighted
by good old MD. As a wise man once told me,
"Keep it simple stupid. LOL".

Ok I havn't been on here in awhile so I think I need to say my two cents and stick up for MD. I read those choices and personally I would leave out the ginseng all together. I have had ginseng but personally would rather not have it in a soda. Soda's are supposed to have caffiene and be full of sugar. If it came down to the wire I would have to go with Supernova. Even though I am not a big fan of strawberry drinks. The melon and lime might make it better though. I however think strawberry MD would be too close to Code Red. I don't care for Code Red but my boyfriend drinks it religiously. And the violet color is the exact opposite of strawberry so it kinda works. Who said the drink had to be the same color as the flavor? I thought black cherry would have been good with lime or melon and it should be bright knock-your-eyes-out- flouresent green because cherry is red. My boyfriend said green apple but I don't know if that would fly there are enough drinks of that flavor already. But mixed with melon might be good. I also wanted to see maybe something tropical but I don't know if that would go over after Pepsi summer mix.( Bring back Summer mix,yo!)Well anyways that's my opinion. No haters. JK Lol.

All 3 have names that leave a lot to be desired

Revolution- The name must be from some 60's retread that still believes in the socialist platform of government while trying to maintain his rights of free speech and living under the mantra of " if it feels good then do it". OR, it was concocted by some sophomore college student who believs in Che Guevera because he likes the T-shirt and doesn't totally grasp his anti capitilast, anti individual ideaolgy.

Voltage- This is from some guy who had BIG hair in the eighties. Loved his Pantera & Danzig. Thought his hair bands were cool because he thought they aspired to be anti conformity all the while he didn't realize they were the most capitalist "artist" in the industry because after all they were cooked up earlier versions of "boy bands".......... sans DISNEY!

Supernova- EARTH TO CARL SAGEN....Come in CARL!!!!!!! This name will never stick. Supernovas expel a great amount of energy..in the beginning, but then leave behind in some instances a black hole devoid of any energy at all. I suppose this will be the outcome of this drink.
