Yes, it's still alive here in the south - though the other flavors are long gone.

When I had a soda pop run to Morgantown, WV, I was surprised at the presence of Mello Yello there. It outnumbered Vault on the store shelves! It was in 2L, 12 packs, and 20 oz bottles.

It used to be available here in Jefferson County alongside Vault, but the local Coke bottler in DuBois, PA literally just dropped it in late 2007.

It's still available in fountain at the bar of the Coca-Cola store in Las Vegas...

i had some mello yello out of a fountain the other day...it was @ 5 guys

It's available in some grocery stores and a few machines around the Columbus, Ohio area.
