Sorry, I used the wrong term, it doesn't taste like raisins, it tastes a little bit like prunes...

Mmmm, looks like something I want! Looks more promising than the RAW is described as being. Raw was supposed to have less carbonation. One thing I liked about the AD Heusing Pepsi was the strong carbonation. I wonder if any of this Retro will find a way across the border. I'd love to try it.!

Ram0n, would you mind translating the CNN article on the drink? I ran it through the Google translator, and my Spanish might not be that fluent, but I'm pretty sure "developed with inputs" is probably not the right translation

Sorry for the delay! here's the translation, but before that, one recommendation, don't believe the "calorie-free" thing, probably they got confused with the relaunch of Coke Zero...

PEPSI IS TROPICALIZED AND GETS "RETRO"
A beverage just for mexicans.
The soda company in Mexico released the new Pepsi Retro, a product with "zero calories" (what?) and made with natural goods, that will just be developed and comercialized in the country and soon will be promoted along with the partners of the firm.
The initial investment to show the soda that will use a "retro" look will be of 80 million pesos (aprox. 8 million dollars), and they expect to have a growth of 10% on their sales with this product, explained José Luis Ortiz, Pepsi's marketing director in Mexico.
"Is a product made by us, 100% in Mexico for mexicans with all the taste that we're waiting for", the directive said.
Despite the economic deceleration that the United States is coming through, Mexico's main commercial partner, the company will face the situation with more innovation, releasing more products to the market and without making any cut of employments at least for this year.
Right now, Pepsi, with all the products that offers (foods and beverages), has around 70,000 workers in México.
"We'll wait a complicated 2008, so that's why we're trying to be very innovators, the growth percentages of the mexican government are more tight that we thought, nobody know which is the real effect of the deceleration of U.S.", said the directive in a press conference.
José Luis Ortiz said that the company is still adjusting the results obtained in 2007, but he made the preview that a growth of 1% in sales volume has been obtained compared with the previous year. Plus, he let open the possibility that the firm could make any acquisition during this year.

Official site:
PEPSI retro
The CNN article is wrong. The above site mentions that the drink will be free of artificial colors and sweeteners.
