    Default New Pepsi Retro (Mexico)

Yesterday was introduced in the mexican market the new Pepsi Retro, according to the news release, this version of Pepsi is made with natural ingredients... , cola nut extract and cane sugar... available in non-returnable glass bottle, 600 ml PET bottle, 500 ml PET bottle and 12 oz. can...

I wonder if the american Pepsi Raw is going to be like this...
When I saw the poster, the packaging reminded me the american "Pepsi Holiday Spice"

I haven't tried it but I will give my review later...

I think you are pretty dead on in that comparison, at least in style:

There's obviously a greater emphasis on white space with Retro. I do like that look, however. When it is going to be available?

Well, obviously the Retro packaging doesn't look exactly like the holiday spice one, I just said it reminded me the holiday spice label, maybe because of the Pepsi-Cola script...

And I think it's available right now at all the country... so if you have a chance to visit Mexico, try it...

BTW... the only thing I don't know if it's going to be a limited edition or a permanent line extension...

Good looking package. But it seems kind of redundent to have that ugly "Retro" type.

I do not care too much about the design.
I sort of wish they named it " Pepsi Cane".
Also, I would rather have strong carbonation.
If it has strong and sweet taste notes.....then it will
    be an instant hit.
Don't worry, be happy. Meher Baba

I just tried it, and it tastes OK, although a little weird cause it tastes a little bit like raisins... so it really has an organic touch...
one thing for sure is that like MrZ. said, it really has a strong carbonation... when I opened the bottle, the foam almost comes out of the bottle...

BTW, if you want to check the website of Pepsi Retro click here

    Thumbs down

i don't like the packaging. it looks old-fashioned. and, yes, i know what "retro" means. however, "retro" usually has a "trendy" kind of connotation, but there's nothing trendy about that label. it just looks old-fashioned.

also, is it just an optical illusion or is the pepsi actually a lighter color of brown?
