So if I told you that Amp Energy Elevate tasted somewhat like Pepsi Blue, would you believe me?


Seriously, that's the first thing I thought of when I tasted this beverage for the first time. I'm not sure if it was like last summer when many were pointing to Pepsi Summer Mix for doing the same thing. For some reason, Elevate tastes a little closer to ole Blue than Mix did. Maybe I'm just crazy. I'm sure you will all confirm that or not.

The big marketing angle in Elevate is "Focus", and they pull it off through the inclusion of L-Theanine, which is apparently a brand name version according to the ingredients: Suntheanine. Same caffeine levels as Traction, which is more than the classic Amp/Amp Overdrive.

Actually, the drink is pretty close in composition to the grape-flavored Traction... obviously it's more "mixed-berry" influenced... or whatever. There's a nice tartness in the flavor as well... kinda like liquid Sweet Tarts. In any case, if you are interested, my humble full review is here.
