Have sales gone up because of the sponsorship?

Dont know specifics but an educated guess would say affirmative.

This week is the first I'm seeing AMP displays. I notice there are 4 limited edition cans. Before this week most Dale Jr AMP POS material was placed with Mountain Dew displays.

Sorta on the subject.
I saw a rather skanky TV add for AMP on MTV.
It showed several gals and guys rolling out of bed after
a one night stand. Then it showed them half dressed and
looking tired, grabbing an AMP and walking down a street
getting energized.

What a nasty add.

I work for a NASCAR developmnt team in the Camping World East series and have spoken to the marketing people at AMP, they said their sales have increased tremondously due to their sponsorship of JR. They are going to send the numbers to NASCAR when they get them.. and I will post.

I don't see a lot of people buying Amp, but I sure do see a lot of people wearing Amp/Dale Jr t-shirts, hats, and other merchandise.

Yeah he is a big merchandise seller but AMP overall sales have increased due to his sponsorship.

Has sales on regular old amp, overdrive and SF increased in your neck of the woods or are your numbers showing increase including the 3 new ones? Around my parts the shelf space has dramatically increased but I really haven't noticed much if any increase in case volume, then again my routes main demographic is hispanic and most hispanics do not touch mountain dew anything. It kind of makes me wonder if there is a not so nice slang meaning to the hispanic translation of mountain dew??

haha well the new flavors are a hit to say the least..but I just got a new bigger route so we will see. Amp regular still outsells them tho.
