It is not a rumor. As I stated above Pepsi will be an LTO of twist. I guess I should have clarified it more to people who were not aware that Pepsi twist was in fact Pepsi with lemon.

Well it will most likely be just pepsi twist, but with a new name and NFL sponerhip it will sell pretty well. Although I would hope that they would at least tweak the flavor. As far as links to show proff I have none because I got this information from an employee of pepsi.

Around 2005-2006 I was in Tokyo twice on business, and would you believe they are nuts for Pepsi Twist over there? As in, it's the only Pepsi product on the shelf. Also of note it's sold in an aluminum can shaped like a bottle. Those wacky Japanese!

I saw shelf tags today for the NFL Kickoff Pepsi. And then I come on here and realize that it's already been mentioned - damn. It's also already on the wikipedia page.

I actually liked twist, myself.

I liked twist as well. I still have ~5 12 packs, although one got soaked by some other leaking soda in my closet (some 14 oz cans of regular pepsi sprung a leak and leaked all over a 12 pack of twist, and seeing as it was in my closet, went un-noticed for a few weeks, enough for it to turn pretty nasty)... Well at least i can stock up on some fresh product soon.

Oh, I would love to see Pepsi bring back the original
Pepsi Lemon "twist" from the 1980's. I keep forgetting
the name of it.

The only thing I know about it is that I want it. It's blue, so it stands to reason that it's awesome.
