Here's another article on it, from Fast Company:

Unfortunately, for some reason, the video is private. But I looked around on YouTube, and found another copy.

Wow! That machine's very impressive. I hope these start reaching a larger market sooner rather than later. Thanks for the link, fusion.

But man, that guy's eyes... creepy!

Here's a pic of the machine at one of the Jack in the Box locations...

That has got to be a nightmare. Can you imagine waiting behind someone as the try and decide which of the dozens of flavors they want to try? And what's with having to ask a Jack in the Box crew member for Dr Pepper?

The concept is interesting, but in practice a system like this could be a nightmare.

A touch screen interface? I can just imagine a 70-year old going up to this thing and having no idea how to get just a coke.

Still, I'm all for anything that brings more options to the typical fast food drink service. It's pathetic that Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi are the only diet options in the vast majority of places.

Raspberry Coke! Orange Coke! I might have to track down one of these machines in San Diego...

I just found out there's one of these at the Burger King just a few miles from my home. I'm gonna go check it out tomorrow.

In the Burger King picture I saw, they had two of them set up.

There is also talk of expanding them to 40-50 additional markets in 2010.

I hate anyone who has used one of these with a white hot fiery passion. I want to try it so bad.

Any way to figure out where these machines are located? I'm in Southern CA so there's bound to be one near me...just need to know where.
