    Default Coke 12-oz glass

I know Coke has dabbled with re-introducing 12 oz (355mL) glass NR bottles in a few markets. Looks like they're trying again:

I picked these up at the local Walmart here in Connecticut. They're from the Needham Heights, MA plant. Nice! And with mycokerewards caps to boot.

Fusion beat you to it in posting about those, by a couple of weeks... but it was part of a longer thread:

Oops, I did a cursory check before I posted, but did have the feeling that this was buried in some other thread.

In that other thread, it was mentioned $3.88 at Walmart. It was that same price at a Walmart in Casper, WY two days ago. I didn't check the bottler code to see who did ours though.

$3.88 is correct. I saw them at the same Wal-Mart that BottleBoss saw them at, and at a second one that I stopped at in Virginia. The second ones were in CCBCC territory, and came from the Marietta GA (MR) plant.

This is a Wal-Mart exclusive package.

I wondered about that. So is it being distributed through Walmart's system instead of Coke's then?

On another note, something I noticed at that Walmart I mentioned in Casper, just a few steps awy from the end-aisle Coke bottle display... They still have these for $3.98, which would be my choice if I was still drinking non-diet sodas.... too bad they are just plain bottles though. Coke's packaging is much nicer.

The good glass deli bottle. Sure do miss them. They chilled quickly and they fit
nicely in the hand. Nothing like a deli bottle of Pepsi and a red box smoke. Good old days.

No, they are coming through bottler warehouses.
