If the new Pepsi globe logo wasn't enough weirdness, I was fooling around the japanese Pepsi website and I found these: next October 21 in Japan will be released Pepsi White, a clear (or white colored?) Pepsi... with yoghurt flavor:

Considering the other odd Pepsi flavors they've had, this one doesn't seem too off the wall.

Somehow I don't think we'll see it being released over here, though!

I love that it says Yogurt on the bottle of Pepsi, and you still couldn't be bothered to spell it right.

Anyways, if this is one step closer to Crystal Pepsi coming back then I'm all for it.

Both spellings are actually correct.

Funny thing is, in Japanese Yogurt is spelled 'yoguruto'

In Japan, they have other drinks that are similarly 'yogurt based drinks' like Calpis (marketed as Calpico in other areas) and Bikkle among others. I am curious about what this may taste like, but I was never a big fan of the yogurt drinks...

It not just Pepsi. There's a Fanta Squash Punch in Japan!

Squash (or sukasshu) is a valid soft drink flavor in Japan. Similar to ramune or cider which is a lemon lime flavor, squash is a sour, lemony flavor that is delicious. Concentrated lemon soda with a sour kick like that is really refreshing in the summer.

There is Lemon Squash by Dydo and CC Lemon which are well known squash in Japan.

I have been a Fanta Melon Soda fanatic ever since my first trip to Japan in 2001 (see my icon) but I can't get it stateside. If you have any leads on Fanta Melon Soda, I would love to hear about it.
