I actually think the new cherry 7up tastes better than the old one... I actually get a nice smooth cherry taste now instead of that bite it had before... I dig it... I still wish all soda was sugarcane though, mmmm sugar cane drpepper...

Cherry 7-up is one of my handful of favorites. I love the stuff.

There is one change that I dont think has been mentioned on this thread. If you look at the list of ingredients, it used to mention both artificial and natural flavors.

Now it only mentions natural flavors.

As a great fan of this soft drink, I think I like the taste a little bit better now. It tastes to me like the "cherry" flavor is a tad bit stronger. Not a lot...just a little bit.

Yeah, it seems like a lot of sodas are "going natural." Or at least promoting their all-natural flavors. The new graphics on Fanta Orange tout their 100% all natural flavors, and if you look at the old packaging, it has natural and artificial flavors. Wonder if they're doing that with all the flavors - I'm pretty sure that grape and strawberry both are artificially flavored currently.

I'm not a fan of making things natural that aren't meant to be. But I thought Fanta Orange tasted artificial to a fault, so maybe in this case it'll be a good thing.

In the past 20 years 7up has reformulated their beverage atleast 4 times.

Hmm... I know before the most recent "natural" formulation, there was the "crisp" one from around 1997/98-ish. When else did they reformulate it? I do know that the diet version has been reformulated countless times.

I just had a can of it. I didn't like it. Tastes really artificial.

From the images of the new Fanta packaging for the United States I have seen, only Fanta Orange has the 100% Natural Flavors designation.

Angry i think the new cherry 7up antioxidants is gross

i LOVED LOVED LOVED cherry 7up the old one. I refuse to drink the new antioxidants one...seriously it tastes like seltzer water. I emailed them and asked them why they changed it..they said they took it off the market because of the low popular demand. well they wont be getting sales from me anymore thats for sure

everyone write complaints so we can get the old stuff back!!!

haha i went to the stores that dont get alot of business and stocked up on the old stuff!!!

As a promotional effort they literally gave away 2 liters of this stuff in every farm fresh..I think they also PAID farm fresh for every 2 liter sold..all a customer had to do was pay the tax on it..many told me it was horrible..I refused to pay even the tax on it. A lot of it was left over..goes to show.
