As you've probably read/heard on the news today, two new flavors from the soft drink giants are hitting Japan:

Coca-Cola Plus Catechin

Reported by the AP to have a green tea flavor, plus "antioxidants called catechins, leaves a slight green tea aftertaste and is mainly targeted at health-conscious women in their 20s and 30s"

Pepsi Shiso

Continues Pepsi's odd string of yearly flavors in Japan, this one seems to have a hint of basil or mint leaf.

i guess those flavors taste better with japanese food...?

I've always really wanted to try that Pepsi Ice Cucumber that they had over there....
