    Default Pepsi Clear

Would there be any reason why Pepsi would have a trademark filing for both "Pepsi Clear" and "Diet Pepsi Clear" dated August 2008 and published December 2008? Seems like a long shot, but unlike the Crystal Pepsi trademarks which are noted as DEAD, these are active.

Well with the success of throwback pepsi and Mtn Dew why wouldn't they try to revive something else from the past. Lets hope for a pepsi blue down the line.

It's sad to see that Pepsi has been missing the "mark".

Well, uhh, Throwback was a limited time product, and it's now 2+ weeks past that period..... and it's sold out around where I'm at.

No reason to markdown the Throwbacks here. Dew went fast and Pepsi is gone in most stores.

Throwback was a huge success in this market. I wouldn't be surprised to see a "clear Pepsi" make a comeback as an LTO. Once agian, i'm sure this would have more a novelty pull.

Some additional thoughts on the Pepsi Clear speculation. I should also mention that Salute to Soda posted the following on Twitter today:
We are working on a MAJOR development from one of the big soda companies. Let's just say things are about to get a little more clear.

Pepsi clear would make sense coming out the same time as throwback because its old and its clear so it fits in with winter.

I have a funny feeling that Pepsi Clear won't evoke as many nostalgic memories as real sugar Dew and Pepsi.

And let's hope that Coke doesn't try to bring back Tab Clear, lol.
