    Default New Ski can designs

    I like the retro-looking one.

    My Ski Soda

Now if they'd just start selling it somewhere around here....

Thanks for starting this thread. I was thinking of starting one like this myself.

I like the retro one as well but voted for the 4th can on the actual voting page. Quite frankly I don't see what's wrong with the current can design. But anything that promotes Ski is welcome, and I'm glad to see Double-Cola engaging in some active marketing instead of just hoping their products, good as they are, will sell themselves. As for the Ski merchandise/apparel store that's "coming soon", I hope that's true. This has been "coming soon" on the main Double-Cola website for a very long time--the only things you can currently order on either the main site or the new Ski site are the beverages themselves.

I like the retro one, but a couple of others seem more attention-getting. The one thing that concerns me with all of the new designs is that they don't look as much different than their competitors as they do now.

When you walk into a store that has Ski, it seems easier to spot. The green is a lighter color, and there is much more yellow on them, when compared to the other citrus sodas. These new designs appear to be using a very-similar color green to Mt. Dew, and there appears to be no yellow on them at all.

I picked up a Ski 20oz on my way thru Illinois last week. Good stuff, I hadn't had one in years. This particular store in Casey IL also had Double Cola and Jumbo flavors in 20oz, 2L, and 12pk. A nice find.
