Meanwhile, here in Mexico Pepsi Retro returns... but now renamed as Pepsi Natural, the label is exactly the same as the american one... but with the difference that it's not on sale on glass bottles (for the moment), only in 600 ml and 1.5 lt. plastic bottles...
Second Pepsi version in Mexico that now carries the new logo... the regular, light and Max versions still have the current one...
You have a source on that? It's interesting, though Pepsi has been distinctively noting that Throwbacks have "Natural Sugar", not "Real Sugar" as the prototypes noted. My guess would be that they don't want to answer the question... "so if this is real sugar, what were we drinking before?"

I could be wrong about all of this but my explanation would be that real sugal=cane sugar, while natural sugar=cane+beet sugar. To complicate the matter even more, what is "pure cane sugar"? I guess they are all chemically named sucrose but it is confusing.
It's like the whole Snapple "made from the best stuff on earth" snafu. They replaced the hfcs with sugar, and added green tea to the black tea.. and now it's better stuff? How can you have better than best? bestest? ha.
