i am going to pigeon forge tenn in october is there anything interesting there. i am a big fan of cheerwine and mello yello. can you get rc cherry or anything real good?

I'm not sure about Pigeon Forge, but you can find Cheerwine and Mello Yello in nearby Knoxville. In some stores in that area, you can find Red Rock Cola in glass bottles as well as other sugar-sweetened drinks from West Jefferson.

The last time I was there was in '06, but Cheerwine and Diet Cheerwine were available and probably are now. I got some of each at Kroger in Pigeon Forge. Food City might have them as well. I can't recall if the Wal-Mart Supercenter had them--I'm thinking they didn't but I don't know. My disdain for Wally sometimes clouds my thinking.

I found Mello Yello at the Kroger when I was last there. If you don't find Cheerwine, you can get Cheerwine (and Sundrop) in Staunton VA. I assume you're taking I-81.
