I am in the formulation stage of my new beverage start up, and would appreciate it if someone could shine some light on the distribution process, how it works, and what the typical agreement is composed of. Is there an industry standard as far as their percentage of sales? Are there any exclusivity contracts wanted by any distributors or is it unlimited to how many distributors you can have in a given area?

If someone can help me out with this it would a huge help!
