I know MexiCoke has been discussed here before, but this is the first time I've seen it in Big Lots. They had several cases and were selling it for $1 a bottle, which didn't seem a bad price. Stuff was surprisingly good. The cashier mentioned the bottles are going to be in this weeks circular.

They're in every store around here, always a dollar as well.

I'm pretty sure US Coke distributors are now distributing the stuff. I don't understand why they just don't make some Coke with real sugar. It's obvious there's a market for it if consumers are willing to pay $18 at Sam's for the equivalent of a ~$7 24-pack of cans worth.

I work for Big Lots and we will be carrying this all the time. The product does come from CCE and is imported from Mexico. It is just as cheap to ship the bottles full as it is empty because there are no longer any glass bottle makers in the US and the glass bottles come from Mexico anyway.
