Okay, so Monday I decided to head to Mac's to grab a soda I hadn't had in a long time, an ice-cold Mountain Dew.

This was a soda I always loved as a kid, so I anticipated tasting something awesome, of course.

I took a sip. And it was horrible. It was bland, and had this awful aftertaste. Did they change anything in Canadian Mtn Dew? It's times like this where I wish Canada had those awesome Dew flavors like Code Red. The cherry taste would definitely have made a difference.

Yeah, just me complaining about how I now think a childhood favorite sucks.

At least for me, when I drink soda pop, taste is also a function the "set up" of my mouth/tong pallet. If I have any sort of salty food (even fast food) most of my B list soda pops have a great taste. I know that I'm a soda pop freak LOL but I'm very conscious of rinsing out my mouth with water before I drink new/old favorite soda pops.

Meh, thanks for the tip, but I'm sticking with Pepsi Lime, Cherry DP and soon Cherry Pepsi from now on.
