Default 1.5 liter Pepsi in upstate New York

I found a whole bunch of 1.5 liter bottles of Pepsi product in a Tops Market today. I don't see a reason for these since we already have 1 liter and 2 liter bottles. Maybe Pepsi is trying to do away with the 2 liter like Coke (and Pepsi?) tried in NYC.

Only 1.5 L pop I have seen in Canada is Fanta. Didn't know Coke tried in NYC.

in the NYC/Northern NJ area, Coke came out with the full lineup in 1.5L, and scaled back 2Ls to mainly the core brands. It was a struggle at first, but then they eventually started selling. Though I think they've discontinued them, with the 1.25L coming.

I've found some in a Homeland Store a few days ago. I bought one for $1.

ICYMI: Have a look at Pepsi's new 1.5-liter bottle for soda. Source sees it in the midwest. Price: 99 cents.

    For 99 cents, I'd rather buy a 2 liter.
