Coke has a new product, its called Red Flash. I just spotted a 12-pack at the grocery here in southern IN. any one else seen it? I haven't tried it yet because they don't have singles in the gas station yet(don't want to get stuck with 11 cans I don't want). anyway, me and my wife think its probabally a big red knock-off, and I don't care for big red too much.

Rockettone, Red Flash is a Big Red knoc-koff. Due to the strength of Big Red in south Texas, Coke has had Red Flash there for about 3 years. The Big Red aficionados don't seem too interested!

I have tried Red Flash, just because I thought the vaugeness of the bottling was funny ("Red Flash: Red Soda" does not tell me much, so I was curious). I do not like it--it is just too sweet. It tastes like a mix of Twizzlers and Bubble Gum (yuck!). My honey likes it though. I did do some research, just because the new product did make me curious. It is a knock-off of Big Red, but I have never heard of Big Red, being from Florida.

Do you know what is in it and whether it would be available in canada?

I have personally tried Red Flash, I don't care for it at all, nor do I care for Big Red, which leads that category, personally I suggest you try Cherokee Red, it is in the Northeastern Part of PA, it is great stuff!!!

red flash. a mixture of bubble gum, cream soda, and strawberry flavored kids mouth wash. excellent in not your own mouth.

Red Flash tastes *exactly* like Big Red to me. I thought Coke had probably purchased Big Red and changed the name...

Big Red to me tastes like a bubble gum / berry mixture. I don't like it, but kids generally do.

I can taste a slight variation in the two. I think Big Red is better though.

Very much like Big Red. My husband and I found it in south Alabama on a trip and would love to find it where we live - Augusta, GA. No luck so far. Coca-Cola did tell me that it was marketed to the SW Texas area.

I have NEVER tried Red Flash but I have herd of the name (At first I thought it was a Red Fusion coycat)But now knowing that it's bubblegum I don't want to try it.
