I certainly have my own opinion as to why Coke and Pepsi use actors drinking from glass bottles in there latest commercials but what is the bev boards thoughts as to why a company will show the buying public one thing and then sell us another. Is this not deception in advertising? I think they should have to state a warning on or before there commercials product advertised not sold on this planet?
What do you think?![]()

Man, one could go on and on about that question.
Same reason there are two huge-busted babes fighting and falling into a fountain every time I turn on a ball game.

They want to show the product and the refreshing bottle. Why they don't sell the bottle, I don't know, but its crap. Using the glass bottle is obviously more attractive than using a can or plastic bottle, but I am sure that almost all agree that they should sell the glass bottle, and not the 8 oz. on, but a 12 oz bottle.

I recall someone on the radio once talking about "symbolism over substance"...
Keep in mind that the King Of Pop\'s crown is not made from a bunch of melted aluminum cans!
