Yep - that's right. My husband and I had about 30 different energy drinks still at home. We were going to throw them away, but they came around collecting for the Utah Food Bank, so we donated all of them. Why???? Because my husband's depression has apparently been made MUCH worse by them, so we're both giving them up for good. It wasn't hard getting rid of them - what was hard was thinking about how much money I had spent on all of them. Oh well!!!

Well...I, myself, will still be drinking caffeinated soda pop (in moderate amounts), just not the energy drinks. I want to be as supportive as I can. I'm very excited, though, as my Christmas present arrived today. I ordered (from Hometown Favorites) Sun Drop, Cheerwine, Polar Raspberry Lime and Nehi Peach Soda. I've never tried any of these, so we'll see how I like them. I understand Sun Drop and Cheerwine are caffeinated, although I don't know how much. Now, if the doc had said to him that he had to give up ALL SODA, I'm afraid that I couldn't have been supportive, as I am a SODA FREAK!!!

Stop consuming all the sugar from the sodas. messing around with your insulin levels from all the sugar and HFCS is probably contributing to your husbands depression. I find certain Energy drinks actually can help with mild depression (most anti-depressents have stimulant effects) Redline Princess has an ingredient called Beta-Phenyethylamine HCI. (PEA) It has been proven to have excellent "mood elevation' qualities. L-tryosine and b-12 also can help with mild depression. Try switching to sugar free energy drinks and cool it on all the sodas, I would bet your husband will be feeling better within a week. Just my opionion.......

Here is some information I found interesting...I was asked a question during a Daredevil Energy Drink promotional specialist training regarding the effects of Ginkgo Biloba. It inspired me to do some research on Ginkgo Biloba and I found that it is thought to be one of the longest living organisms on the planet, and has been known to help memory retention and act as an anti-depressant. This instantly explained why we often hear people say that they feel more focused and intelligent (lol) when drinking Daredevil Energy Drink, and that is has an up-lifting mood effect.

Sorry if I was not clear guys...I am the Sales/Marketing Director... I handle special events, training, promotional activity and sales based on promotional activity.

I did not participate in the ingredient preparation. I would imagine we leave that sort of thing to the experts. With the way I am in a kitchen...the drink might explode off the shelf or worse. Trust me...we are all better off that I am no part of tossing in ingredient ideas. (lol)
