Default New Amp Flavors

I work at a grocery store and saw them in the back today. 3 new ones, a lemonade flavor, black tea flavor, and green tea flavor.

I have always been a big fan of Amp and am looking foward to trying them all.

Default They are ok

The tea ones do taste ok but are not really that great in the kick ingredients dept. They are average at best. Why do they always put BVO in their drinks. 296 mg Taurine? I wish they actually tasted more like tea. What is the point of a tea drink that you can hardly taste the tea in?

I just reviewed the lemonade flavor (Amp Energy Lightning), and like lordmadone, really enjoyed it. I expected it to be more on the side of yucky lemon-flavored drinks, but the infusion of the lemonade flavor was pretty solid.

It is interesting to note that with the rollout of the new flavors, the Mountain Dew branding has been completely removed from the product (though this may have happened earlier in 2008... I know when Elevate/Traction/Relaunch hit last winter, there still was a small Dew logo on the labeling)

I haven't had a chance to try the Green Tea or Black Tea yet... trying to track those down.

Very good observation. I save my energy drink cans like people save the beers they drink, and I just noticed that.

Great now I have to add more cans to my collection, lol.
