Default Dangers of Energy Drinks

Dangers? What are you talking about? Research is showing that 89% of tested energy drinks have a high glycemic value and promote adipose fat storage (belly fat).

In addition, these risky energy drinks activate the cephalic reaction in the body which basically opens up the fat cells and causes them to replicate and for you to get fat.

The chief biomedical researcher talks in more detail about this on the audio link located at the dangers of energy drinks.

Did I miss something? How did this thread get started? Is this guy carrying on a conversation with himself and rebutting something he commented on inside his own own head????

Also, Could you please explain this in more detail? "In addition, these risky energy drinks activate the cephalic reaction in the body which basically opens up the fat cells and causes them to replicate and for you to get fat."
Are you sure you're not talking about fat cell precursors and not the fat cells themselves being activated by the cephalic reaction....which is a physiological response due to the induction of glucose?

I'd also, like to point out, considering this is a blatant advertisement for your product which is against the boards policies, that your statement on your website is technically correct but it is a nice display of marketing creativity."GBG’s ENERGY MATRIX™ does
not cause blood sugar swings or reactive
hypoglycemia, and does not stimulate adipose
tissue fat-storing***"
Of course your "ENERGY MATRIX" doesnt do those things, the MATRIX was created to create energy, but you fail to acknowledge, by your own words, that the cephalic reaction can and will occur by the other active ingredients not part of the "energy matrix" any time a "sweet" taste is recognized by the body. The sweetener being the peach sweet and the sucralose and a moderate amount of sugar.
You have 2g of sugar in your product resulting in 53% of the calories in your drink coming from sugar. Low Glycemic based on a a 2000 calorie diet but high in a stand alone assay.
