Hi, we are currently in the process of potentially launching a new start-up beverage company. However, as we put together our business plan, we have found it challenging to figure out how to get the actual beverage made. We have some basic homemade stuff and know what taste profile it should have...but how do you link in with the beverage scientist to develop the proper commercial formula? Any advice and estimated costs would be really appreciated.

I have 16+ years in the beverage business, primarily in marketing, sales, and distribution. I am assuming you know what is in your home made soft drink, i.e. the ingredience?, what proportions? the level of carbonation? Do you know what your label size, design, and application will be? are you going to use a paper, an ACL, or shrink film label? If you know these things then all you need to do is contact a co-packer for your product. Different packers will have different minimum runs. Good Luck!
