ATTENTION BEVERAGE COMPANIES & DISTRIBUTORS

Welcome to El Barrio Bears Little League Team of the Youngsters in Sports League est. 1967. Located in the heart of Spanish Harlem The Barrio Bears was developed by local volunteers from the community. This year's Head Coach and Manager is Aladdin Ullah, assistant director of Pleasantville Youth Center. And I am Ayesha Wilson - General Manager and Fundraising Director.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The kids on El Barrio Bears Little League team are from the community. Many of whom are not in the position to absorb the costs associated with Little League.

We are very lucky to have El Barrio's Operation Fightback supporting our efforts for these kids, by purchasing all their uniforms.

Uniforms are a start, but WE NEED MORE

Presently we are trying to raise money for equipment (approx. $900), supplies (first aid kits, team socks, padding batting gloves, cleats etc), practice time at batting cages (approx. $50 every two hrs=$500 for the season), and food & refreshments.

WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW!

We are asking local businesses to donate money; goods and services to the team so that we will be able to supply each kid what he or she needs during the season. Please help us reach our goal of $2,500.

Specifically, I would like to ask ANY BEVERAGE COMPANY to donate water, juice, sports drinks and any other promotional items available to our team. our season starts in June and we need some donations to assist s with these kids throughout the season.

We appreciate any assistance or donation your store or organization can provide for us.
