I recently watched an episode of a Food Network show, Unwrapped, which talked at length about a number of classic American sodas and, at one point, revealed the location of a California store which claims to sell over 350 different kinds of soda. Living in Canada, I'm not likely to drive down to California for nectar, but it happens that this summer my wife and I are driving from our home in Saskatoon down to New Orleans, across to Florida and home. I'm wondering if anyone who happens to live in the south east or mid west knows of a super place to get a wide variety of neat-o sodas? I know of the online stores like SodaKing or Beverages Direct but I'm wondering if there might be a retail version in any of the areas through which we'll be driving. =)

*THANK YOU* for any help you can provide. =)

Hey too bad you're not going through California since I'm the guy who sells that stuff to Galco (the store you saw on the Food NEtwork). In fact he only has 1/2 of what we offer... over 800 longnecks including 43 root beers in amber bottles!

Anyway there are some other places along your route too but I don't want to take from Shawn's spotlight so you'll have to quietly e-mail me at danny@realsoda.com for the hot spots!

Hey in June Food Network is going to show the Reed's plant; they were filming while I was there a few months ago. I think it's June 4th or thereabouts...
Keep in mind that the King Of Pop\'s crown is not made from a bunch of melted aluminum cans!

THUS SAITH THE KANKING: If it's not in an Aluminum can, It should go in the garbage can!
