This is the "Free for All" thread, yet there is a general consensus that the topic should always be about drinks. No, this thread is not another "General Discussion" thread, it is to be used about music, politics, whatever. I have seen two non-beverage related topics here in all my years, and in both cases the authors were scolded for deviating from the "beverage" topic. I thought it was cool when the free for all thing was introduced because i like to read other peoples' opinions on stuff. For instance, I saw a lot of Bush support in the "howie stern is not thinking clearly" thread, and I was surprised. My friends and other boards I frequent universally can't stand him, yet a lot of people in the bev industry do? Let's branch out and "discuss whatever you want"!!!

jABBER, Thank you for the support pal.

I totally agree, and the person that did scold me is now posting some great replys. just as he always does, and for that Im glad he "saw the light".
Yes this is called BEVBOARD, but there is room for topics the public needs to talk about. ie. REPUBLICAN another 4 years!

and another thing I think that sugar tastes better in soda but from a cost perspective I see nothing wrong with hfcs. If people are worried about their kids nutrition or their own for that matter DON'T buy soda, period. thats all I have to say about it also. (edude)

    Saint to answer your question.
I am orig from Atl, here in Boston only 14 months, and yes NE was a big DEM region. W-A-S!
The people I am in contact with everyday are just getting tired of the DEM way. Now maybe I am totally mistaken, however peoples frustrations on the hometown boy (Kerry) ARE spoken, and that is a fact.

The running joke up here is he wants to be the "SECOND 'BLACK' Prez"! Well Kerry is no more in touch with the low income black society than GW is ... but we dont hear GW spouting crap like that. and its a total joke.

The economoy and unemployment up here in NE is doing well and way down. I say this for many reasons, a few are because of my profession (high $$ beer) and the number of companys and recruiters that call me each and every week needing sales reps. I for one AM going to give GW another shot at 4 years!!

the economy here in oklahoma is the same as it always is flat at best. we okies get the distinct pleasure of being a "statewide market analysis" area for walmart and the economy isnt going to grow if and I will quote from an article in the paper a month or so back "96% of the population frequents walmart on a biweekly basis" also went on to say that some obsene amount of disposable income was spent there in the neighborhood of 60cents of every dollar or like that. All I know is I am making alot more money than I was 4-5 years ago doing the same job at the same company . this is from a company that everyone on here that sells beverages on commission has heard at one time or another " if you want a raise sell more" so with that being said people must be buying more of my product because the economy is up. I have not received any increase in base or commission in the same 4-5 years. in oklahoma mostly the larger cities, i.e. okc tulsa lawton and their suburbs are republicans and the rural areas are democrats.
