I'd like to know what people think of this drink. I like coca-cola, but I don't like the idea of putting caffeine in my body. What's the taste like? I'm guessing this soda doesn't taste good, since caffeine balances coke flavor with it's bitter taste. Am I correct?

Not much difference. I have not had any for several years but I remember the flavor seemed a bit mellow.

I always thought the flavor was a little mellow too. I used to drink it really late in the day, and the flavors weren't similar, but there wasn't a big enough difference to really put your finger on. I've always heard that caffeine has a bitter flavor, so caffeine free Coke tastes a little sweeter.

It's just a tad sweeter than regular Coke. I can still sense variations in each batch of both, some more vanilla flavor, other more fruity flavor, other more cinnamon flavor, etc.

I'm also wondering if caffeine reacts with the new medication (Provigil) I'm taking. I was getting vision like looking through Saran Wrap(tm) going down the road. I had just had a mixed soda of Mt. Dew, Slice Orange, & Sierra Mist when I stopped for lunch. And NO Alcohol.
Life is too short to drink crummy sodas...
