I gave into all the hype about the game, broke down and bought it yesterday. It also helped that I got the Collector's Edition version at the regular version price, because it was mis-marked. They put a lot of work into it! I like all the recognisable voices in it, too. Donna from That 70's Show playing a Marine, that kind of thing. They improved the story from the first game, one of the things I was disappointed in playing Halo. I'm really liking it so far.

the game kinda seems like the star wars of videogames, with such a rabid fanbase and storyline that can be built on.. halo 2 also kinda plays like a movie in that its got quite the storyline and wonderful cinematics and scenes, and voice overs, etc etc.

it really is an amazing game, and i thought the last HALO was the best game ever, and this one is just leagues better... its amazing how much it made opening day, 100+ million in 1 day?! jesus... i hope they have a halo 3 in the works!

did you check out socom 2 (online). Its awesome. The graphics are not as good as Halo but its fun as hell. The only down side is that it lags a little. Other than that, its my game of choice.

Halo 2 is incredibly boring. I hate it. Not that I really enjoy video games in the first place, but what the hey. You would think that it would be more fun for all the hype that it has.
