Is there something wrong with the mt. dew we've been getting here in Illinois? My significant other drinks mt. dew & nothing else. So when my significant other says there is something wrong with the taste, (two 24-packs & 1 20 oz. bottle later) we have to inquire as to what is going on here in Illinois? (Northern Il. to be precise). It's been tasting flat. And no, they are not expired cans or bottles.

Call up Pepsi. I once bought a few cases of Pepsi that tasted like flat diet pop and they refunded my money (make sure you have the cans near by - they will want some codes from them).

It may be a case of improper storage before it was put of the shelf. If it's put in a warm area (like next to a refridgeration motor), the taste will suffer.

A Dew drinker loves his drink so much that they will know when some thing is wrong with it. My advice is to call your local Pepsi bottler (the one on the can) and complain. They should listen. If they don't, start a petition. But they should listen to just you. Mountain Dew is there #2 drink, so i'm sure they will fix whatever the problem is fast. They don't want to anger there fan base.
