How is Coke Zero different then Diet Coke? From what I read about it it looks exactly the same!

I second this. Is Coke Zero going to be the one with Splenda in it?

The difference, as far as I know, will be Coke Zero will be made with the original Coke recipe, while Diet Coke has always been the "New Coke" recipe, only diet.

Thanks! Why would Coke continue using the New Coke formula in Diet Coke after they switched back to the regular Coke formula?

Because Diet Coke has always been made with that formula. New Coke was based on Diet Coke.

Coke Zero tastes much more similar to Coca Cola Classic.

Coke Zero is intended to be a zero calorie soda which tastes as close as possible to Coke Classic.

Diet with Splenda is intended to be a non aspartame based Diet which tastes like Diet Coke.

I had a chance to sample Coke Zero around a month and a half ago - it was quite good. Definitely had a taste distinct from Diet with Splenda, and wasn't all that far off from Coke Classic. Will be quite pleased when it arrives on the shelves, and I hope it has a decently long product life.

Mumblings of a mad man. LOL

Is it me or does it seem that Coke is going to confuse the pants off it's loyal customers?

I have been reading this board for awhile, I like to think I know a little about the soda pop industry, what ever Coke is doing with it's sugar free and or low cal soda pop grand roll outs has given me a big headache. LOL

How many new or reformulated kinds of soda pops will the market bare? I say Classic Coke and Diet Coke will ride out the "roll out" storm.

How come they just dont' replace Coke C2 with Coke Zero.

It seemed that only a handful of people bought Coke C2.

I can't figure out the differences between Coke C2, Diet Coke, Tab, & Mexico's Coke Light.
Life is too short to drink crummy sodas...
