My old company owes me a significant amount of money- from wages/salary earned and from car allowance/mileage reimbursement. They have so far refused to pay, how can I get them to pay without hiring an attorney?

This sounds very familiar. I am in the same situation with my former company. They owe me a 2 months of expense reimbursements and are not responding. I wonder if this could be the same company because I know they pull this all the time. Send me an email and message and let me know who it is and we may be able to work together.

It happened to me too. I simply filed a claim with the State of Michigan. The State was aggressive in pursuing my case. Contact your State government/Labor Department for the appropriate forms. It was free of charge.
