Does anyone have any information on what dates they will release CocaCola Zero in which areas?

I don't know about other areas, but I just bought a 2-liter today, here in Virginia. I just poured out a small glass to sample it.

My first impression? Well it's about time! Finally Coke has released a "diet" soda which tastes at least similar to the real thing!

My question is, why did they wait so long?

I like to mix aspertame sodas with sugar sodas. That way I figure I'm not getting as much of either one. Half the sugar, and half the aspertame.

But you never could do that with Coke before, because there was no diet version. "Diet Coke" sure, but that never tasted anything like Coke! You couldn't mix that stuff with the real thing!

C2 was the best thing they had offered until today. I like that, but I must say, I think this new Coca-Cola Zero is an even better mix for regular Coke.

I also noticed a "new" Diet Coke in the store? One with "Splenda" instead of aspertame?

I guess I'll have to give that one a try to?

My guess is that the bottlers in the various regions are re-tooling (bottles, liquid formula and new/adjusted machinery). I know that they have very strict product controls so maybe that's why different areas have product and some don't.

    Just my uneducated guess. LOL
