I was at my local KMart (in Grand Rapids Michigan) before i went in i decided to get a pop from Coke machine. So i pressed the Mello Yello button and out comes a Vault! I was plesantley surprised since i love Vault. But i was wondering, is Vault permanetely replacing Mello Yello. Many signs point to it. Mello Yello is hard to come by, Vault is making 12 packs and 2 liters and also the machine incident. Any answer would be aprreciat ed.

I recently experienced the same thing at a vending machine in my high school. when i pressed the button labled Mello Yello, a Vault came out. But then the next day i pressed it and a Mello Yello came out, a few minutes later, my friend pressed the Mello Yello button and a Vault came out. I dont understand why they had both in the same slot.

I am totally addicted to mello yello and drink it every day without fail. I noticed in my home town of Charlotte NC that there seemed to be a lot of vault around and less and less mello yello. This disturbed me quite greatly. When the coca-cola man came to my place of work I asked about this. He said they have already stopped producing mello yello. I am hoping this isn't entirely true and that I will still be able to get mello yello somehow.

I doubt Mello Yello will dissapear from the Southeast. It has a very loyal fan base there. But in Michigan it is sure to dissapear - with Vault being there. Michigan is not a Mello Yello state. We still have Mello Yello in my area. But only in 5 Fountains.

My local grocery store still carries 2-liters, 12oz, and fridege packs. So i think it's gonna stay at least until Vault has been fully released for a while.

But just in case it is discontinued, i'm stocking up.

We haven't had Mello Yello in years in Oklahoma City. About 3 years ago Coke introduced Sundrop to compete with Mt. Dew. I don't think it sells too well, but I sure like it.

It's a product of Cadbury Schweppes (Dr. Pepper-7UP) and I think is distributed by Coca-Cola in certain places.
